1. To begin, open the Word document and navigate to the Review tab. 2. From the menu, choose Language-Language-Set Proofing Language... 3. In the pop-up window, uncheck Detect language automatically and select Do not check spelling or grammar, then click Set As Default. 4. Click "Yes" to confirm. 5. Now, when you edit the document, the spell check will not mark words as wrong if they are not correctly spelt.

Simply uncheck the "check grammar" box in Word. Click grammar after right-clicking on the word with the blue lines beneath. Uncheck "check grammar," but leave "check grammar and spelling" checked, like I did. All blue lines beneath the words will be deleted. The default settings in Microsoft Office Word remove the blue underlines for grammar and spelling errors when you publish your document.
