• In "Invictus", William Ernest Henley writes about a hero who dies but still lives on in others' memories. So, immortality is when people remember you even after you're dead.
Infant Loss Poems. The loss of a loved one is always cause for sorrow. When a baby dies, though, there is a despair that beyond typical grieving. We are socialized to believe that the elderly outlast the young. When a person who has lived a complete life dies, there is a sensation that everything has been done correctly.
