What is the difference between notes and comments?

Notes and comments serve two distinct functions. A presenter may include notes, often known as speaker notes, as a reference point. However, comments are provided by a reviewer to offer feedback. Comments can be positive or negative and usually take the form of suggestions for improvement.

Notes and comments are found within the presentation file in different sections. There are three main parts to a note: title, text, and indexing. Each part has its own characteristics that allow for more detail than what is shown in figure 1. For example, the title section allows only one word per title while the text section accepts whole sentences. The indexing section contains only letters used in the text section and cannot contain spaces or special characters.

What are the comments?

Commentary 2: a comment that explains, illustrates, or criticizes the meaning of a piece of work. The passage's comments were printed in the margin. 3a: a comment or observation indicating an opinion or attitude critical remark constructive feedback.

Comments are words or phrases used to express an opinion about something. Comments can be positive or negative. Comments can also be explicit or implied. With respect to literature, comments may be made by writers within the text of a work itself or outside it, such as in a review or essay. The term is most often used in relation to music, but it can be applied to any form of art or entertainment.

In poetry, essays, and other forms of literary writing, comments provide information for the reader about the author's understanding of their own work or that of others. They often point out errors in grammar, usage, or structure, and suggest ways in which the writer could improve their work.

The word comes from the Latin comentum, which means "with whom" or "that which adds value". This makes sense when you consider that comments provide additional information about what we read or hear. For example, if I read in a book review that the protagonist was like me, I would know that this reviewer understood my situation similarly and perhaps even felt some of my emotions during reading.

What’s the meaning of comments?

(First of two entries) 1: a remark 2: a note clarifying, illustrating, or critiquing a piece of writing's meaning The passage's comments were printed in the margin. 3a: a comment or observation indicating an opinion or attitude critical remark constructive feedback

Comments are words or phrases that explain or interpret something. Good comments help others understand what you want them to know and do what you want them to do. Bad comments confuse people or hurt their feelings. They not only tell others what they think about their ideas but also their opinions about other people.

Comments are usually written below or beside quotations, excerpts, or parts of speeches or writings by individuals or groups. The comment may be made by someone who is present during or after reading the material, such as a teacher commenting on a paper written by her student. Comments can also be posted or mailed to newspapers, magazines, websites, or other forms of media. The comment might be attached to the material it explains or interprets.

In academia, comments are words or phrases that indicate an opinion or attitude about a piece of work, its author, or some other subject. Academic comments are usually short responses that clarify or criticize something in the text or research project. They often include suggestions for changes that could be made to improve the work.

What do you know about notes?

Notes, a record or sketch of a speech, statement, testimony, or other event, or one's impressions of anything An explanatory or critical comment, or a reference to a quoted authority, affixed to a section in a book or the like: a note on the phrase's origin....

Notes are used for remembering things, such as names or dates. They can also be used to explain things or provide evidence. A note can be as simple as writing down a phone number or as complicated as a dissertation. Students may write notes for themselves or others. Teachers may give students notes policies so that students understand how notes work here.

Note taking has changed over time. In ancient Greece, people took notes by hand-painting pictures on pieces of parchment or papyrus. These notes were often included with letters or delivered in person. The first mechanical typewriter was invented in 1867 by a German man named Friedrich Blümel. He sold the patent rights to the machine for $10,000 but never made any more money off of it himself. Instead, he gave most of his earnings from the sale to an orphanage where he lived.

Today, most people take notes on their phones. They use apps such as Evernote or OneNote to save their notes.

What is the meaning of "note making"?

Making notes is more than just jotting down everything you hear or read. It is the process of examining, linking, and synthesizing concepts from lectures or readings. Making notes allows you to remain active and engaged throughout lectures, reading, and review. Selectively identify essential concepts for future study and highlight important points in texts.

Note taking can be as simple as writing down key words/phrases/sentences/paragraphs that interest you or using note-taking software. However, there are many different techniques you can use to analyze information and take notes. The most effective methods combine careful listening with critical thinking and analysis about what was said. For example, you could write down every word heard by simply listening to a lecture but then also draw connections between words and ideas through paraphrasing or summarizing the speaker's point.

Taking notes is a necessary part of learning at any level. Students need to understand what knowledge is being presented in classes so they are able to formulate questions about it later. Professors want students to pay attention in class and take notes because this shows that they are interested in what is being taught. Also, students who take notes well are considered to be smarter than those who do not. This is because taking notes helps students retain information better than simply remembering it.

Educators believe that students should always be taking notes during lectures because learning occurs when an idea is introduced and discussed among classmates.

What is the comment? Give an example.?

Making a statement, remark, or expressing an opinion is what it means to comment. A remark is when you give your thoughts on a topic. A comment is defined as a statement or remark. A remark is something like a statement published in the newspaper concerning a current controversy. Comments are usually less important than articles and can be printed anonymously.

Comments are often used in communication with others, for example, friends, family, and coworkers. You might use a comment when you want to share your opinion about something without being perceived as offensive or arguing with someone. You can also use comments to describe something that has been said or done. For example, if someone mentions a beautiful sunset, you could say that it made me think of you.

People sometimes use the word "comment" when they mean "statement," but they're not exactly the same. With statements, you should aim to be accurate and honest. For example, if you say that my friend is stupid, that would be an accusation that could hurt her feelings. On the other hand, if you say that the movie I saw was good, that would be a comment that doesn't imply anything bad about anyone involved.

Finally, comments are often used in writing. For example, if you see that there's a mistake in one of your papers, you could point out the error by saying that you found some mistakes in your paper.
