Art and culture. We think "The Day is Done" is all about the power of art. When the speaker is feeling down, the one thing he can turn to is poetry. Poetry has power over us because it expresses ideas and feelings that we can't express ourselves.

This follows a decision made by the Executive Committee in 2013 to make World Poetry Day an official International Literary Festival. The previous edition of World Poetry Day took place on 3 June 2012.
The theme of World Poetry Day 2015 is "Write What You Know."
UNESCO's General Conference will meet in October 2016 to vote on whether or not to continue with this annual event. If passed, this will make World Poetry Day an official UN activity.
There are many ways you can get involved with World Poetry Day. You can write a poem, draw, paint, or create some other form of art that relates to poetry. Then you can share your work on social media using the #WorldPoetryDay hashtag.
The poet expresses his delight in this lovely spring day with a tone of joy, fun, and contentment. All of the references he's used to demonstrate his attitude and tone The poet's enthusiasm is evident in his choice of words. "Meadows" is a common term for grassy fields or meadows.
He begins by saying that the day is "divine." This word means "good" or "acceptable" and it comes from the Latin dius, which means "god." So the day is divine because it is good.
Then he says that it has made him feel like dancing. The word he uses here is "limbic," which means "of the muscles or skeletal system" as well as "pertaining to emotion." So he feels like dancing because this makes him feel strong and free.
Later on he says that he wishes everyone could share this feeling of his. Again, this word means "joy" or "mirth." So he wants people to experience this kind of happiness he feels.
At the end of the poem he asks God to keep this day forever. So the poet is asking God to make this day special, so it can be remembered always.
In the poem, the author describes the events of our daily lives. This includes everything from going to work to playing with your dog.
He uses language that sounds like it was popular at the time he wrote the poem. Words such as "fret," "disquiet," and "anxieties" sound like expressions we use today. However, they were used by Ben Jonson in his play The Alchemist back in 1610.
The main idea of the poem is that we should live each day as if it was our last because you never know what tomorrow will bring. No matter how busy you are, or how many things need to be done, you should still make time to enjoy what's important in your life.
Some people might think that living every day as if it was your last thing would be scary. But the author shows us that even though it may seem like a bad idea sometimes, it isn't. Living each day as if it was your last allows you to take risks and have fun. It also reminds us not to worry about things that we can't control.
Finally, remember that you are unique and valuable.
The major topic of this poem is the lover's desperation and longing to meet the beloved. This poem also depicts the conflict between the beauty of art and the movement of life; you cannot admire nature while going about your business; it is either one or the other. This poem is very similar to Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 because both poems are about two lovers separated by distance who long to meet.
Another important theme in this poem is the meeting of night and morning. Night is a time when we can see stars with our naked eyes, but there is no light on earth that can compare to the brightness of the sun. However, just as the morning brings new hope to the world, so does night bring peace to the soul. Ancient people believed that seeing the stars brought them joy even during times of war and suffering, and today scientists agree that this is indeed true.
Last, but not least, this poem is all about fate versus free will. The speaker in this poem believes that their love is not meant to be because they were born on different sides of the world, but rather it's up to him whether or not they will ever meet. In other words, he feels like they are fated to be together because of their circumstances, but he has the power to decide what role he will play in their meeting.
These are just some of the many themes that can be found in "Meeting at Night".
The poem is simply suggesting that a day spent helping others is a particularly happy day. Even if you only do one thing to help someone in a modest way, the day will not be wasted because of the happiness you offered to another person.

It's a metaphor for living a full life. A day spent doing nothing but enjoying oneself is a day well spent even if it's only for an hour. So in that sense, it's possible to spend your whole life helping others in some way or another and never run out of things to do.
As long as you're not hurting anyone else, there's no reason why you shouldn't use your time helping other people. Indeed, it's one of the most beautiful things you can do with your life!
Of course, you cannot save everyone, but you can try your best to help those who need it. Sometimes all they need is someone to listen to them, give them hope, or just make them feel less alone than they actually are.
In conclusion, a day spent helping others is a day well spent because it gives you something to look back on when you need motivation. It makes you feel good about yourself and it makes other people feel good about themselves too. That's what makes life worth living.
