The Ramcharitmanas were written by whom? Goswami Tulsidas wrote the Ramacharitramanas after translating Veda Vyasa's Adhyathma Ramayana from Sanskrit to Awadhi. Ramcharitmanas is not a translation of the Ramayana by Valmiki. He essentially repeated the narrative to his disciples in a more plain language.
Goswami Tulsidas born on 15 August 1533 in a royal family of Awadh (now in Uttar Pradesh, India) he was called "Tulsi" because of his devotion to God. His father died when he was young so he grew up under his mother's care who was a devout woman. She used to listen to religious teachers and sing bhajans (devotional songs) all day long. When Tulsi was fifteen, his mother decided to move to Rajasthan with her son to seek refuge with her brother. However, due to some misunderstanding between them, they arrived in Varanasi instead where they stayed for three years. During this time, Tulsi studied various subjects including Vedanta under several scholars. In addition, he also learned Sanskrit from many professors.
After returning home, he started writing poems and songs praising Lord Rama. The most famous one is "Ramayan", which means "the epic of Rama". This poem became very popular among people and made him famous too. In addition, he also wrote other poems on different topics such as ethics, religion etc.
The Ramayana was authored in Sanskrit by the scholar Valmiki during the Treta Yuga. Lord Ram's contemporaries included Sage Valmiki. Goswami Tulsidas, a prominent Awadhi poet, penned "Kaliyuga" in Awadhi. Tulsidas lived from 1511 to 1623 AD in the 15th century AD. 2. A song written by him has been incorporated in the Holy Quran.
The Ramcharitmanas was also written by Valmiki. It contains 24,883 verses in Hindi language. The poems describe the deeds of Lord Rama as well as his friends and companions. It was composed during the reign of King Janaka of Mithila (now in Nepal).
Sita is the main character of the Ramayana. She is the daughter of King Janaka of Mithila and his wife Queen Sumitra. After the death of her husband Ravana kidnapped her. But when Lord Rama went to rescue her, he killed Ravana in battle and brought Sita back home.
Ramacharitmanas is a collection of songs written about Lord Rama. It was composed by Tulsidas during the reign of Emperor Akbar of India.
These are the original authors of the Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas. Many people have contributed to their development over time including poets, writers, artists, and musicians.
2. Ramayana is composed of two words: Ram and Aayanam (story), hence the meaning of Ramayana is Ram's narrative. 3. The first Ramayana was written by Valmiki sometime before AD 400. It contains seven hundred verses divided into fourteen chapters.
Valmiki was an enlightened soul who lived in ancient India. He was a sant (saint) - a holy man who has realized God. His life story can be found in many texts but especially in the Ramayana which is considered one of the epic poems of world literature. It tells the tale of Lord Rama, a prince who lost his kingdom to a tyrant and had to flee with his wife and brother to avoid being killed. On the way, they are joined by Ravana, a powerful demon who captures Lady Sita in order to take her home. When Rama defeats Ravana in battle, he releases Sita who then joins him in exile. After many adventures, Rama returns to kill the demon king Ravana after which he and his family return to their kingdom. 4. Ramayana is an important text in Hinduism because it contains many stories from the Holy Book called Vedas that describe how to live a good life.
